Lightweight, gathered, 100% linen custom cafe curtain panels, in many size options and made to order. Use these on a curtain rod or with clips.
These are beautiful, airy, and natural, and a perfect addition to your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or any living space.
I create all these curtains in my New England studio, just myself, with a passion for beautiful and natural fabrics. These panels are PURE European linen -- never any imitation linen "look" fabrics. This is the real deal!

Curtains are sold as one panel each, in the finished dimensions of your choosing. Customization is easy with a simple note to me, written in the "personalization box".
To find the perfect gathering, I recommend taking your window width and multiplying by 1.5
This will give you gentle gathering.
For less gather, drop down to 1.25x
For increased gather, bump up to 2x the window width.
Then all you need to do is figure out how high you want the panel(s) to be.
C O N S T R U C T I O N

All curtains are constructed with a rod pocket, which can also be used for a clip/ring system.
A simple tension rod is all you need to hang these curtain.
The top rod pocket is 2" high, and the bottom hem is 3" high.
The top rod pocket will accommodate a rod up to 7/8" in diameter.
If your tension rod is larger, you can just "flip" the curtain and use the 3" hem as an alternative rod pocket.

If you want to be able to part the curtain in two, take your gathering measurements, and divide by 2.
Then order a quantity of (2) in the divided measurement, in order to cover 1 window.
Feel free to write a note "these will be split panels" and I won't tag EVERY curtain... just half : )

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY!! I originally ordered linen curtains for two windows but after mounting them, I went ahead and dressed the remaining windows with EmeraldAcreShop curtains. What's your production time for curtain orders - both custom and regular?
Typically I run at about 5 weeks for turnaround time.
This allows me time to collect orders, secure the necessary fabric, and get your order into the production queue.
I do my best to be as efficient as possible, and appreciate your patience while I complete your order just for you.
If you need something expedited you can always ask if I can make an accommodation.
What's the difference between Optic White and Ivory?
Optic White is a very bright, crisp white. It's a good choice if your decor is modern and bright, with cool undertones.
Ivory is a little softer, more of an "antique"white, though not yellow. It's a good choice for more traditional homes or homes with a lot of natural woodwork.
Both options are good, true whites, though, and the choice just depends on your surrounding decor.
How do I figure out what size curtain I need?
Pre-listed measurements in the listings are taken as if the curtain is lying flat.
If you need to figure out what width curtain you need, multiply your exact window width x1.5
(example: 24" wide window x 1.5 = 36" wide curtain)
This will give you an ideal measurement that will match the photos pictured in the listings. You can always go up or down, as necessary, or as desired. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
What is linen??
Linen is the only fabric I use in my shop, aside from the occasional organic cotton.
"Linen" comes from the flax plant -- it's the stalk of the plant that grows flaxseed. The finished fiber is known as linen. It grows in a similar fashion as wheat, although it's also very different.
The technique of processing linen into a fiber is very ancient, as linen is one of the worlds oldest textiles.
It requires little water, and rarely requires pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. The linen I purchase is grown in Eastern Europe and parts of Russia, with zero air, water, or noise pollution during is manufacturing.
It's a naturally eco-friendly fiber, resists staining, gets stronger when wet, and is naturally anti-fungal (great for homewares!)
